Wisconsin Anchor Busted for Drunk Driving (For the Third Time)
/It appears that cops clamped the cuffs on WSAW (Wausau) Anchor Holly Chilsen, charging her with OWI.
According to court records, Chilsen was cited back on June 12th by an officer from the Wausau Police Department.
Looking at the court records, it says that this is the 3rd time that she was cited for OWI.
Court records say that she was released on two signature bonds for $500 a piece. It also says that as her case winds through the court system, she is to refrain from “Bars, Taverns, Liquor Stores or Beer Tents. Absolute sobriety from and no possession of alcohol/controlled substances except prescriptions taken as prescribed. Shall not drive a motor vehicle without valid driver's license.”
According to her station bio, Chilsen joined the station team in August 2012 as a producer for the 6 and 10 evening weekday newscasts. Since then, she’s anchored Sunrise 7 Sunday and NewsChannel 7 Weekend. After two years working weekends, she moved on to produce and anchor NewsChannel 7 at 4, on our Fox affiliate, WZAW. After four years, she was promoted in April 2021 to co-anchor Sunrise 7 on weekdays.
