Leaving the Tower at 18

As a professional golfer Nick Faldo almost never looked around. He was focused and as he said, he played with blinders on.

His career in golf was a strong one. He won tournaments all around the world and most importantly, he won 6 majors, which puts him in rare air.

But it wasn’t until Faldo left the game of golf that we learned that the Englishmen had a sense of humor and was a good communicator.

Faldo joined CBS Sports and spent years in the 18th tower sitting alongside Jim Nantz doing color commentary.

But now, Faldo has come out and said that his is retiring from TVG later this Summer.

He posted about his plans on his social media.
