Norah O'Donnell sees Big Pay Cut

Remember how CBS executives kept leaking information that they were talking to others about coming on board to anchor CBS Evening News?

Word kept coming out that CBS was looking for their next Anchor.

Well, it worked exactly as they planned.

Word is that when Norah O’Donnell signed her new deal with CBS, it was at about a 50% pay cut over what she was making.

O’Donnell was said to be making $8 million in her first deal as the Evening Anchor and is reportedly making just $3.8 million in her recently signed deal.

CBS played both O'Donnell and her agent perfectly.
