Nexstar’s WHNT (Huntsville) might have done something that has not been done before in the industry.

With the new hiring of Claudia Chakamian in the sports department, she joins Sports Director Olivia Whitmire.

This means that WHNT has an all-female sports department.

I can’t think off hand of any other station that has all women as their sports team.

Pretty dang cool.
