I Was Abused...

LA Anchor Gabriela Rosales says she is not going to remain silent any long.

Rosales is the Primetime News Anchor for Estrella TV in LA.

She posted pictures on her IG of what she says were marks left on her after being abused and posted this message.

TIRED of silence! I was going through this while working for one of the biggest media companies, and nobody knew! #DomesticAbuse is not easy to endure. The system unknowingly makes it harder on survivors. Abusers feel they can get away with anything. Years later, even when having the courage to leave, file for divorce, after extensive hearings and court dates… abusers still believe they can get away with anything and continue the same #gaslighting and emotional abuse they used to inflict.

As you can see the photos are from a few years back, but the emotional manipulation is ongoing, affecting our kids… and well, that… I will not tolerate!

I am exhausted! When will the gaslighting, manipulation and neglect of parental responsibility ever stop! Exhausted!

Don’t ever ever judge a woman, abuse can affect anyone regardless of race, education, career… it can affect anyone, including you!

If you know anyone going through it, don’t judge, listen and be empathetic.
