KVUE (Austin) Sports Anchor/Reporter Emily Giangreco decided to go on social media and give her thoughts on Roe v. Wade.

You would hope that Giangreco would know that as a Journalist, you should keep your personal beliefs to yourself.

If you work at the local bank, go ahead and say your piece, but as a Journalist, you have crossed the line.

But, she’s in sports you say.

Well, what if a professional athlete gives their opinion on the Supreme Court’s upcoming ruling and says they are “pro-life”?

Can we now, knowing her views on the issue, trust Giangreco to be unbiased in her coverage?

Obviously, these people are no longer being taught in school how to conduct yourself as a Journalist, but where are the News Directors?

People have lost trusts in Journalists, let’s do the right things to try and get back that trust.

Just saying….
