Nexstar Reporter Arrested on Warrant (Updated)

Update: We saw on Mike McGruff’s Houston media site that Gerald Harris is now at KHOU, the Tegna station in Houston.

In the last couple of weeks, WKRN (Nashville) Reporter Gerald Harris’s bio went missing from the stations website.

Here is screenshot of the bio, before it was yanked:

Many wondered why the Reporter was gone so suddenly?

It appears that back in 2017, while Harris was interning at WKRN, he was pulled over by police. After the cop asked him for his license, Harris put the car back in drive and sped away. The police officer was unable to keep up with the car and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Five years later, the long arm of the law caught up to Harris and he was booked on the charge of felony evading arrest.

Scoop Nashville obtained the warrant for Harris’s arrest.

Seems odd that it took the sheriff’s office 5 years to find a guy that was on their TV set almost nightly.

WKRN pulled Harris’s bio from the website, but has not issued a comment.
