Saying Goodbye to Hurricane

Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz got a bit of a surprise as he signed off from WCAU after a 30-year run.

While many paid tribute to Schwartz, the biggest surprise came from a video by Major League Baseball star Mike Trout.

Trout, a self described “weather nerd” grew up watching Hurricane and sent along his well wishes.

The best baseball player on the planet Mike Trout from Millville, New Jersey sent a message to @HurricaneNBC10 on retiring!@MikeTrout grew up in Philly area, watched Hurricane’s forecasts and is a huge weather fanatic
