Many TV newsies are using the new app called “New Profile Pic” to create a new pictures for their social media.

If you do a little digging on the app (which you should do on any app), you will see that the app originates from Russia, and it pulls in a lot of personal information about you when you use the app.

WBRC (Birmingham) Anchor Janice Rogers used the app to do one picture and then thought better of it.

Sadly, I’m thinking the Russians have her info now.
