Where is the Balance?

Clearly, Sinclair loves pushing their conservative agenda, which of course they are entitled to do.

But, what I think is wrong, is the fact that Sinclair likes to say that they are objectively reporting the news.

Let’s look at a recent example with this story from the company’s “National Desk”.

Sinclair’s National Desk syndicated this story all of their station and it was posted all over social media.

Sinclair obviously is not a fan of the White House and VP Harris, but couldn’t they have at least pretended to have some balance in the story.

The sources cited for this are some guy from the Federalist (conservative), Kellyanne Conway (conservative), Washington Examiner (conservative), Fox News (conservative), and RealClearPolitics (conservative).

It seems that they were outraged that Kamala Harris was asked to dumb down a complex geopolitical conflict and she dumbed it down too much.

My God! The horror.

Yet, I didn’t see a wide-reaching story from The National Desk when Donald Trump suggested the United States military disguise its aircraft as Chinese property and then use those planes to 'bomb the shit out of Russia”, or why that strategy would completely fail?

Look, it’s Sinclair’s candy store and they can do what they want. They want to attack the left and prop up the right, they are free to do so.

But, don’t try to pan yourself off as being a fair news operation, because, it really does make you look stupid.
