Twice the Cost

Hearst-owned KCRA (Sacramento) has taken the wraps off their newly remodeled break room at the station.

While many employees were happy to see the space updated and cleaned up, they were a bit surprised when they walked into the new digs.

Insiders say that while the new break room has a machine which offers all kinds of snacks, most of them are now twice or more the price of the old system.

And, while the cash machine has an option for cash, it only takes credit cards.

I guess they had to pay for that new paint somehow.

Wouldn’t it be cool if TV station’s offered up free food in the break room as the tech companies do?
