Reporter to Compete in Beauty Pageant

It appears that WIS (Columbia) Reporter Madeline Stewart will take time out from delivering the news to compete in the Miss South Carolina Pageant this weekend.

This seems backwards to me….

I always thought you did the beauty pageant circuit first and that landed you a job in TV news.
