Launching with a Whimper
/CNN spent millions on launching and promoting their new streaming service CNN+ and yesterday it finally launched with a thud.
The app barely cracked the top 200 in the Apple app store for overall apps.
It wasn’t long after it launched that CNN started running promos that you could sign up and get CNN+ for half price for life.
When you drop the price 50% on day one, that’s not a good sign.
Just saying….
