She Left Two Weeks Before it Died

Christina Santi worked as a senior digital producer at Black News Channel. She held that job for just over a year.

But, two weeks ago, Santi left the job after she said that it severely impacted her mentally and physically.

She said that the demands at BNC were too much after the company had two large rounds of layoffs.

As Black News Channel tried to cut their way to prosperity (which many companies try and never succeed) it stretched those that stayed so thin that many ended up quitting.

Santi was one of those that left.

Yesterday, the rest of the staff were told that the network was shutting down immediately and filing for bankruptcy.

Santi shared her thoughts about all that on her social media.

A number of good people lost their job yesterday and are now looking for the next job.

I wish all of them well in trying to do just that.
