KVUE Meteorologist Christopher Nunley announced back in November that he was leaving the station, but not the Tegna family.

Nunley is starting his new gig at KING in Seattle and he posted this to his Twitter.

We unpack what he said on the backside.

Okay, first off, when you claim KING is the “best station in the country” aren’t you throwing some major shade at KVUE and the people that work there?

Should all the people working at KVUE, try and move to KING, since you say it is clearly better?

Also, saying that KING is your final stop in TV news is tempting fate a bit, don’t you think?

This is a fickle business, and while you might want it to be your last stop in TV news, you boss, or your next boss at KING might see it differently.

You might want to slow your roll just a bit.
