Fox Fixer is Killed in Ukraine as Well

The news of an attack on a Fox News crew continues to get more sad.

FTVLive told you that Fox Correspondent Benjamin Hall was injured after being shot by Russian forces. Yesterday, we told you that Fox News Photographer Pierre Zakrzewski was killed in that same attack.

Now word comes from Fox News that Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra "Sasha" Kuvshynova was also killed in the attack.

Many news crews use what is called in the field as a “fixer.” They are people that know the area and can often translate and get crews into places that they would not get into alone. Kuvshynova was working in this role for Fox News.

Those people go to great lengths to help news crews in war zones and they do so with no on-air credit and often, not for very much money.

The fact that this 24-year-old died is so very sad.
