A week and a half ago, FTVLive told you that WJZY (Charlotte) Sports Anchor/Reporter Grace Remington was apparently selling clothes on her social media and giving out promo codes to her followers.

Well, it appears that maybe they were not.

Check the meet the team page at WJZY, it appears that Remington’s bio is gone. She just started at the station 7 months ago.

Also, let’s read between the lines of a recent job posting the station made for their sports department.

Check the highlighted part that does not appear in other job postings the station has posted for newsroom jobs.

Oh! By the way, that original pants-selling post from the news set, appears to have been taken down from her IG.

If she is in fact gone from the station as it appears, I say good for the station for doing so and I hope that others in this business learn, you can be a Journalist, or you can be a product pitching influencer, but, you can’t be both.
