When people turn on a TV newscast, they assume that the show is live, but that isn’t always the case.

Apparently, Tegna’s WBNS in Columbus tapes its sportscast that runs inside the newscast.

How dod we know this?

Well, watch as the sportscast starts coming out of the break.

If you’re going to prerecord the sports, don’t you think that transparency dictates that you at least inform viewers that it is prerecorded?

Lastly, if you are not going to tell viewers that, maybe you should pay a bit more attention to editing the so stated prerecorded segment.
