Stepping Down at Tegna

It appears that WGRZ (Buffalo) General Manager Jim Toellner is going to get out before Tegna sells the company off to some hedge firm.

WGRZ is channel 2 and he made his retirement announcement on 2/2/22.

“For many reasons, all good, natural and right, I am retiring from WGRZ, Channel 2. It’s time.” Toellner said.

As for when he is leaving?
