Another CBS O&O Boss is Headed for the Exit

At the beginning of the year, FTVLive FIRST told you that KPIX (San Francisco) News Director Mark Neerman had the distinction of being the first ND whacked in 2022.

Now, the guy that sent Neerman packing is also headed for the exit.

Word is that KPIX General Manager Kevin Walsh is “retiring” from the CBS O&O at the end of the month.

With Walsh leaving that means that most of the General Managers that worked under the Peter Dunn regime at the O&O’s are now gone.

The way CBS is going right now, you half expect that the company will hire 2 or 3 people to replace Walsh.

It seems that since Dunn was bounced and Susan Zirinsky reassigned, every time CBS fills a new job they assign 2 or more people to do that job.

The company has become so top-heavy with managers, the rank and file have no clue as to who to listen to.
