Two Men Busted for Stealing TransFormer from Nexstar Station
/This seems like such an odd thing to steal, plus it weighed 4,000 pounds.
On Monday, February 22,2022, shortly after 3:00 a.m., WJTV (Jackson, Mississippi) had a theft of a 4000 pound transformer stolen from business property that was captured on surveillance footage.
The surveillance footage showed a Spray painted Chevy Express (short school bus) along with two white males who was caught on video surveillance cameras loading the equipment tow trailer to the bus and driving away.
On this same date, Precinct 1 Officer was patrolling near the area of 346 Elton Road Exxon when Precinct 1 observed the short school bus fitting the description of the early morning theft that took place as WJTV Station.
The two white males observed on surveillance footage dressed in same clothing was at location and placed under arrest for the theft of the $15,000 transformer. Arrested Blake Bryant DOB 4/13/68, and Daryl Gunter 1/16/65.
