Despite being made in “small batches” it seems the company still feels the need to advertise the beverage. On Valentine’s Day, a sponsored post on Instagram popped up from KSWB Sports Anchor/Reporter Samantha Rivera on her station branded account.
The post said “Happy Valentine’s Day from #MyKaruna and I….
it was a sales pitch from an employee at a Nexstar station that pulled in over 2,000 likes and got over 50 comments.
But, then the post just vanished and we wonder if someone at Nexstar saw Rivera’s post and advised her that this really was not cool?
We hope that is the case and the fact that Nexstar is finally taking a closer look at what is happening on the social media of their employees.
But, it should also be asked, how did Rivera think this was okay in the first place?
