No One Saw This as a Conflict?

KMOV (St. Louis) Anchor Laura Hettiger interviewed a Doctor about heart health and then went on to endorse visiting his team at the hospital for questions you may have.

The interesting thing in all of this?

Dr. Mark Gdowski, the doctor that was interviewed is married to Laura Hettinger. Yep, the same Laura Hettiger that was conducting the interview.

While this raised the eyebrows of some KMOV staff members that reached out to FTVLive, obviously station management didn’t seem to think that this was not a conflict of interest?

Was there no one else at the station that could have conducted this interview that maybe wasn’t, you know, married to the doctor?

Just asking….
