Gray TV Ponies Up on Bonuses

The other day, FTVLive did a story about how it appeared that Gray TV wasn’t handing out any holiday bonuses this year.

Well, maybe our story had the company rethink that option, or maybe they planned on doing it all along, but Gray is giving out some very decent bonuses to employees.

Staffers are getting up to 3% of their salary as a bonus this year.

While that is great and good for them, doesn’t it seem like the lower paid staff should get a bigger slice.

A high paid Anchor will be getting a much bigger bonus than a Producer. I would really like to see that reversed.

But, props to Gray for taking care of the people that make the stations operate.
