He's Been Fired

Yesterday, in a story we titled “Fire This Idiot” we told you how WIVB (Buffalo) Reporter Jerry Sullivan made a comment on a podcast, degrading women.

Sullivan made the sexist comment during a podcast, he was asked about female sports fans and female sports Journalists.

“The worst fans really are the women. They don’t get critical journalism. They’re all wannabe cheerleaders,” Sullivan said.

FTVLive’s last line of the story said, “if WIVB hasn’t kicked this idiot to the curb yet, what are they waiting for?”

Well, we’re happy to report that WIVB did sack Sullivan. He also works for two small-town newspapers, and they also canned his ass.

More often than not, we hate to see anyone lose their job, but, in this case, we’ll make an exception.
