/A number of you have emailed to talk about CNN’s latest try and putting on a morning show.
Here is a sample of the emails:

I watched CNN This Morning for a little bit today after your article this morning talking about their abysmal ratings and I can see why. Here are a few of my observations:
-BORING
-Looks like there's zero camaraderie among the anchors
-None of the anchors look like they want to be there
-Long, boring segments of reporters just talking on camera
-Anchors look like their necks are sore from turning and looking at that big monitor on the wall
-Don Lemon's giant glasses are distracting
-I can't believe they took Kaitlan Collins off the White House beat. She was so good in that role.
Email:
If CNN's looking to save money, just axe the morning show already - namely Don Lemon - save a ton of money on salaries, and simulcast Morning Express with Robin Meade already.
But for the love of Christ, don't change a thing about Morning Express....
FTVLive responds: I have been saying that for over a decade.

First, you have a promo with a very staged and stilted conversation in a coffee shop. The anchors are blabbing away saying nothing about what's new or unique about the show. It's a campaign that Creative Services departments across the country have done hundreds of times and actually produced with clearer messaging and more authenticity! Then, there are 3 anchors sitting at a "clear top" desk as is done at another network and at many stations coast to coast. Then there's that stale still graphic for a set background leaving industry set designers vomiting as they watch. It's a broadcast that delivers the same content as everyone else. It's serious, mostly sad, hard news, and the daily dose of CNN political data at nauseum. Talk about "white noise" after a while? Who wants all that going out the door in the morning? This management team had an opportunity to invent something all new. I bet all the key managers are congratulating themselves on how good a show they have created. Sorry. FLOP!
