Somebody is Lying

I think most of us would agree that this election cycle has been one of the worst any of us have ever seen.

There are campaign ads running with lies and attack ads that make you sad for this country.

There have also been some dirty tricks being played and the voters in New Mexico are now having to decide who is lying and it involves a TV station.

Former KRQE (Albuquerque) meteorologist Mark Ronchetti is running on the GOP ticket for governor of Nex Mexico. He is running against Democratic incumbent Michelle Lujan Grisham.

On Thursday, a high-profile attorney in Albuquerque, Thomas Grover, started Tweeting out screenshots allegedly depicting a KOB-TV employee sharing highly specific and detailed information, including anchor/reporter/moderator choreography and verbatim debate questions with the Michelle Lujan Grisham campaign during her first run for gov back in 2018.

Grover said that he received the text screenshots anonymously, and hinted to having these back on Oct 30th.

Why these took 4 years and just days before the election to be made public is a bit of a mystery.

Ronchetti jumped all over the texts being released and put out a press release.

KOB General Manager Michelle Donaldson is calling the texts “patently false.” They station released this statement.

Clearly someone is dirty in all this.

The lawyer that posted the screenshots, has followed up with this post:

This race is very close and you have to bet that this could play a role in deciding the election.

Hopefully, law enforcement will step in and investigate this and find out which party is dirty and take action for trying to interfere with an election.

Stay tuned…
