Wow! Why Did This Chicago anchor Call the Cops?

WGN (Chicago) Anchor Tonya Francisco called the police after a Subway restaurant around the corner from WGN charged her for a tip.

The tip amount was less than a buck-fifty.

I sort of understand what she is saying, but at the same time, you call the police?

If it was really that big of a deal, she could have just disputed the charge to her credit card company. I don’t think you needed to get the police involved. Plus, the social media post is a bit over the top, don’t you think?

Also, the poor folks working at Subway aren’t exactly pulling in Chicago Anchor money. Maybe just take the L and move on.
