Gray’s KWTX (Waco) decided to give over 2 and 1/2 minutes of news time to some woman that has come up with the conspiracy that the Disney movie “Hocus Pocus 2” is going to “unleash hell” on your children.

The station took the Mom’s theory and ran with it.

So now we are giving conspiracy theorists time on the news?

Do we not vet stories anymore?

I saw a homeless guy yelling at a streetlight yesterday, does KWTX want to do a story on that?

Disney is not casting a spell through the screen. If you don’t like the movie, don’t watch it.

But, the fact that a Gray station gave this woman the time to spout her nonsense is a prime example as to why people don’t have any trust in local news.

If I was in Gray’s corporate offices, I would be giving KWTX News Director Bob Walters a call and saying…
