FTVLive told you that Gray Television had parted ways with their News Director Melanie Standiford at KNOP (North Platte) after she was seen over the weekend helping collect signatures for a ballot initiative to ban abortions in a neighboring town.

But, in checking Standiford’s LinkedIn it appears that she has already landed a job with the Fox Corporation.

Here is the screenshot of her LinkedIn page in which she lists a full-time Job at Fox as a “For Hire.”

I have no clue what a “For Hire” is, or does.

Also, less than a month ago, she posted a video of her “big idea” for North Platte, Nebraska which including kicking out homeless people and turning a portion of the area into a tourist destination.

Do tourists actually go to North Platte?

BTW- The idea is the easy part, raising the money to pull it off when it gets difficult.

My guess is that her little river side business district will not include any abortion clinics.

Just saying…
