WTXL (Tallahassee) Sports Director Alison Posey was busy this past weekend covering the Florida A&M University homecoming game and a home game for Florida State University as well.

After covering both games, Posey was called in in the wee hours to cover multiple shootings that happened in Tallahassee. Sources say that the station is so short-staffed that they had to call in the Sports Director to cover a shooting.

But, here’s the thing, she did a very good job of covering the story.

I don’t know what her contract situation is, but if I was a News Director, I would be giving her a call.
