News Media Falls for Fake Story on TikTok
/A number of TV stations picked up on a story out of Georgia is which two men discovered they were not alone in believing a particular young girl was their daughter. They both showed up at the girl’s school and both claimed to be the dad.
The story came from a woman on TikTok and stations ran with it. WTTE Fox 28 in Columbus did a story on it, along with other media outlets.
But then, the woman that made the TikTok says that she made the story up and it proves why you can’t trust the media.
She claims that only one media outlet reached out to her to confirm the story.

Fox News picked up on the story from WTTE and then followed up with this.
People in the media should know that TikTok is not a reliable news source it it should not be treated as such.
TikTok is for TV news people that have low self esteem to post dancing videos of themselves in an effort to get people to m”like” their post.
