Bounced LA GM Resurfaces Across the Street

Back in April, FTVLive told you that NBC had parted ways with KNBC General Manager Steve Carlston.

Carlston had been GM for the NBC O&O since 2011.

Well, Carlston has landed another job and he doesn’t even have to put the for sale sign up on his house.

The struggling Fox O&O, KTTV announced that they have hired Carlston to try and turn the station back around.

“We were fortunate that someone with Steve’s exceptional track record and knowledge of L.A. was available. The fact that he worked at FOX before is also a win,” said Fox O&O boss Jack Abernethy.

Carlston takes over for Bill Lamb, who retired or got pushed out, depending on who you’re talking to.

Carlston certainly has his work cut out for himself, KTTV is nothing short of a trainwreck at this point.
