After many that saw the video of WSAZ (Charleston, WV) Reporter Tori Yorgey getting hit by a car while doing a live shot, they took a few shots at WSAZ Anchor Tim Irr for appearing to be so cavalier about the fact that the station’s Reporter was just hit by a car.

We knew as we watched it that Irr did not have access to a decent monitor in his sight, and we urged the station to fix that issue.

Yorgey was quick to jump on social media and have Irr’s back.

I’m telling you, in a business full of narcissists and people that want to be influencers and not journalists, Tori Yorgey is a breath of fresh air.

We’re very impressed with her and she gives us hope that this business is not doomed just yet.
