News Director Gets a Standing Ovation

Sometimes when the News Director leaves a station, many are very happy to see him go.

Some might even applaud as the ND walks about the door.

Longtime WDRB (Louisville) News Director Barry Fulmer walked out the door for the last time at the station and the staff was cheering. But this was out of respect as the newsroom gave him a standing ovation.

Fulmer is headed to WCPO in Cincy to be the station’s News Director, or whatever fancy title Scripps wants to call it.
