News Nation CORRESPONDENT Now Hospitalized

On our Patron page, FTVLive FIRST told you how News Nation Correspondent Felicia Bolton posted a very emotional video after she contracted COVID. She also sent an email to co-workers about her getting COVID and warned them.

FTVLive followed up that story, with another Patron story about how a very frustrated Bolton sent an email directly to Nexstar CEO Perry Sook raising concerns about the unsafe environment in the NewsNation newsroom, how dismissive the NewsNation management team has been when it comes to COVID and racial discrimination.

Now, Bolton has posted an update to her IG, informing people that she has now been hospitalized due to her COVID symptoms.

She writes in part, “I’m sharing this now in hopes of bringing out honesty & allowing people to stand up when they see something wrong or when they are sick . Today I went to the Urgent Care for shortness of breath , dizziness , fatigue , headaches , cough and BURNING in my lungs. The pain is excruciating & it’s normally followed with body aches, night sweats and chills. The Urgent Care doctor spoke with me and told me I needed to go to the ER IMMEDIATELY,” she wrote, adding, “We know now that I have what’s called “long term Covid”. Doctors say it could be weeks or even months until I’m fully recovered from the disease. I am FULLY vaccinated . I wear my mask at all times in public settings ; except for work.”

Bolton has been very public with her concerns as to what she feels is a very cavalier approach that Nextar and News Nation management have displayed during the pandemic.

FTVLive has also heard from other staffers at both News Nation and Nexstar stations that have raised the same issues.

As Bolton continues to speak out and raise concerns of what is happening inside News Nation, you have to wonder if we will ever see her on the air again at the cable news network?
