Word is that after 20 years at KOMO, Reporter Matt Markovich is going to sign off from the Sinclair station.

This will be a big loss for KOMO.

Markovich joined the station back in 1991, but he has also worked for other media outlets, along with KOMO. Along with KOMO, Markovich also reported and produced for several nationally syndicated programs and networks including The Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Learning Channel, PBS, Lifetime and ABC.

He also once served as the Seattle Bureau Chief and Correspondent for TechTV, which was one of FTVLive’s all-time favorite channels.

Word is that Markovich signs off on Friday.
