Mort Meisner Associates announced that Syma Chowdhry joins NEWS 12 New Jersey as Monday through Friday Morning Anchor.
Syma has also worked at the CBS O&O in Philadelphia and most recently was an Anchor/Reporter at ABC Affiliate WXYZ in Detroit.
Syma additionally has worked at The Law and Crime Network and is a graduate of Temple University.

Also, in other moves, WP TZ (Burlington) announced that Tyler Jankoski has been named chief meteorologist. The news follows long-time chief meteorologist Tom Messner’s recent retirement announcement. Jankoski will assume the leadership role after Messner’s departure after the November book.

Messner passed the torch to Jankoski in making the announcement.

Maybe someone should have had a riser for Messner to stand on during that announcement.
