Ratings Slip at CNN

Looking at the numbers, it appears that the ratings slide at CNN is continuing.

CNN’s New Day has been blown up by boss Jeff Zucker more times than I can count, and looking at the latest ratings, I would not be shocked to see Zucker do it again.

On Monday, CNN’s New Day had its lowest-rated day of the year with both total views and the 25-54 demo (377,000 total viewers and 60,000 A25-54).

Moving to prime-time and it appears that the spotlight on Fredo is not helping his numbers.

Chris Cuomo was called out for advising his brother, former NY Gov Andrew Cuomo during his time of crisis and now Chris has been called out by his former boss at ABC for sexual misconduct.

Despite being in the news, although for negative reasons, Cuomo is losing viewers. On Monday night, Cuomo’s show pulled just 749,000 total viewers which is his lowest non-Friday show of this year.

As usual, Fox News topped the cable news ratings. MSNBC swept CNN across every key daypart among total viewers for the 3rd quarter of 2021 and beat CNN in the demos in prime time.

Despite all of this, Jeff Zucker somehow still has. a job.
