Texas News Director Leaves the Station
/KTBC (Austin) News Director Pam Vaught has retired from the the Fox O&O.
She spent nearly 40 years in the business and almost half of those years at Fox 7 Austin.
The station did a story about her retiring and although it was a bit too sappy for us, it was a nice touch.
This is a business where News Directors don’t really get the choice of when they want to retire, that choice is usually made for them.
