Back When She was a Bench Warmer

Almost two weeks ago, FTVLive told you that KTLA had bumped up Weather Anchor Kacey Montoya to the weekend morning shows at the Nexstar station.

Before getting into TV news, Montoya was a model and was part of the card collecting group called Beach Warmers.

She went by the name Kacey Bytheway and according to her Bench Warmers profile, her ambitions were to be “on the cutting edge of broadcast journalism.”

I’m not sure KTLA is that, but hey, she’s on a newscast in the No. 2 market, so she has done well.

On her likes and dislikes in the profile, things that she loved were frogs and the GOP.

She put Liberals on her hate list.

Her hobbies included watching Fox News.

You can still buy her Bench Warmer trading card online. They go from 60 cents to 75 cents and were issued in 2005.

Could make a great addition for those living in mom’s basement.
