Running For Union Office

A number of women working in the Chicago market are wondering about one of the people running for a paid position with the NABET union.

Some of the women have taken to social media to ask about Jorge Lara, who works as an Editor that NBC’s Telemundo and his running for a union office gig.

While FTVLive can not confirm the reports to HR, looking at Lara’s social media is a bit concerning.

He seems to enjoy posting pictures with some of the women that he works with and while that in itself is fine, tagging the pictures with “Hubba!! Hubba!” is, shall we say a bit creepy.

At least it is to us.

If you’re going to rep the union and all the members of the union, you might want to ditch the “Hubba!! Hubba!” when you post pictures of female co-workers. I can assure you, at least some of them don’t appreciate it.
