A New Boss Named in Charlotte

Yesterday the staff at Nexstar’s WJZY were called to a meeting in which they met the new General Manager.

After 15 years at WPTV (West Palm Beach), General Manager Lloyd Bucher is leaving Scripps and heads over to Nexstar.

Bucher was announced as the new GM at WJZY at yesterday’s meeting.

Bucher was named one of the best GM’s in the country by FTVLive back in November of 2020.

This is a solid hire by Nexstar.
