Here We Go....

While viewers might have been tuning into the WAVE 3 (Louisville) news to try and get their news and weather information, an episode of the Bachelor broke out.

The newscast stopped completely as WAVE Meteorologist Tawana Andrew’s boyfriend came on the set to propose to her.

While I’m certainly happy for the couple (I guess) I still have to wonder why TV stations feel that this is something that needs to be shared with the viewers during the newscast?

You want to put a video on the station’s website in which viewers can click on if they want to watch, that’s fine.

But stop highjacking a newscast for crap like this.

Also, if the marriage doesn’t work out, while WAVE be taking time out of the newscast to show us the divorce proceedings?

It seems only fair….right?
