Spinning the Numbers

CNN media critic Brian Stelter posted a tweet to crow about the fact that Fredo’s show is the highest rated show on CNN.

What is interesting is that MSNBC sent us a release about its August ratings and point out that Racheal Maddow’s show has beaten Cuomo’s show for 99 (yes 99!) straight months.

And looking at the numbers, both Maddow and Cuomo lose in the 9 PM ratings to Fox News.

In other words, the show that Stelter is crowing about is not No. 1 or even No. 2.

I’m not sure I would be bragging about that.

Lastly, you may remember that Chris Cuomo was off for a week in August, so he and his friends could go to Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday.
