It's Got To Be the Best Job in TV News

While not many stations have a Food Reporter, there are some that do, and it has to be the best job in TV news.

Think about, you go to the finest restaurants, have your pick of the menu and your station picks up the tab.

For nearly two decades Steve Dolinsky was “The Hungry Hound” food critic for WLS in Chicago.

During the pandemic, the ABC O&O parted ways with Dolinsky and it appeared that he would have to start paying for his own meals.

But, the food gods have given Dolinsky a new outlet, or at least WMAQ has. Dolinsky posted that he is joining the NBC O&O as “The Food Guy.”

I’m jealous of him and his job.
