Dude?!

It appears that Matthew Cappucci is the Austin Walker of Weather.

Cappucci might want to get a few more minutes in the business before strutting out his oversized ego.

The very green weather anchor bosted on social media about WJLA asking him to appear on the station’s air.

A polite decline and no social media post would have been the correct way to handle that invitation, but not for young Cappucci.

When asked about his status at Channel 5 (WTTG) he replied with this:

Dude, you’re a young and cheap freelance hire at WTTG….. That’s it!

My guess is if WTTG cast you aside, which they have done with many people much more talented than you, you’ll be knocking on the door at WJLA and after seeing your post, they aren’t going to answer.

You are way too inexperienced to be burning bridges at this point.

I can assure you, you need to get better at talking slowly and you really need to slow that ego down.

Despite what you think, you’re not all that and if you don’t reign it in, you’re going to learn that in a very hard way.
