NAB: Show Us Your Proof of Vax

FTVLive told you that despite the rapid rise in COVID cases, the RTDNA is planning on going ahead with its conference in Denver next month.

Some feel that RTDNA is putting profits ahead of safety when it comes to holding a conference in the midst of a pandemic.

Well, the National Association of Broadcasters is also planning on going ahead with their convention in Las Vegas in October.

But, the NAB says that they are going to require that all those attending the conference show proof of their COVID vaccine.

The NAB “will require all attendees and participants to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. We think this is a positive step in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and will provide further details on implementation as well as other safety measures under consideration,” said NAB’s Chris Brown.

One longtime NAB attendee tells FTVLive he’ll be skipping it this year. “I have gone to all of the shows over the past decade, but this year you can count me out.” the TV executive said to FTVLive.

FTVLive will also be taking a pass on going as well.
