New Agent in the Napoli Fold
/Napoli Management Group is pleased to announce that Josh Gropper will join the company, effective September 1, 2021. He will serve as a talent agent at Napoli’s newly established New York City office.
Josh comes to Napoli after five years at CNN in New York where he worked on the network’s content and talent strategy, across all CNN platforms. In that time, he formed connections with anchors, reporters, and correspondents. He is an innovative and forward-thinking media professional with programming and talent strategy experience in news and sports. Combining high-level relationships across the media and broadcasting industry, an appreciation for legacy and new media, and a keen eye for talent, Josh looks forward to ushering in a new generation of talent representation at the Napoli Management Group.
“My entire life I’ve loved television—specifically the people on air that transform a simple screen into magic,” Josh said. “When friends of mine growing up idolized athletes, I looked up to the sports announcers. When politicians took over the limelight in the last decade, it was the news anchors that I gravitated to. Having worked at CNN the last 5 years, I know what it takes for future clients to make it in the industry and it’s my goal to help the next generation of broadcasters.”
Mendes Napoli, President of Napoli Management Group, said, “We are extremely fortunate to find someone like Josh to join our staff of talent representatives. I believe he can help us navigate the future of television news, find the next generation of clients, and guide his clients into this new online media world.”
Prior to CNN, Josh worked at NBC Sports in a similar programming role, as well as other agency positions at IMG and Horizon Media.
