Confusing Post....

Newly hired WTTG Reporter/Anchor Jacqueline Matter posted this to Twitter about what is going down in Afghanistan.

The way I read the post, the first paragraph questions why the U.S. sent military troops to the region and how the entire effort seemed like a waste of time.

In the second paragraph, she says that the troops’ efforts and sacrifices that they made “were important and will never be forgotten.”

Does this seem as contradictory to you as it does to me?

And to prove she is drinking the Patrick Paolini (GM of WTTG) Kool-Aide, she follows up the post with two more that are telling the President of the United States how to do his job as she prepares to anchor the newscast.

Isn’t a Journalist’s job to tell us what happened and not try to dictate to the President what they should or should not be doing?

How about just giving us the news and leaving the commentary to the talking heads on cable? Biased people on TV a 2 cents a dozen and I guess we can add Jacqueline Matter to that pile.
